My Campaign: Making Strides Against Cancer

Why I'm fundraising for St. Jude

A few days ago, as I was listening to music, I came across the song ‘Ronan’ by Taylor Swift. In ‘Ronan’ she talked about how a three-year-old she loved was diagnosed with Stage four neuroblastoma, which is a deadly form of childhood cancer. And she talked about how devastated they were when Ronan couldn’t fight any more, a couple of days before his fourth birthday. Taylor Swift’s song really moved me.

Cancer is a horrible disease that can happen to anyone, and a whole life can be turned upside down. My parents always encourage me to contribute to our community. They say that “help and contribution” is one of the most beautiful things in the world. So I want to do as much as I can to help other kids. I know I am only eleven and there is only so much I can do by myself, but together we can help so many kids. So I urge you to donate here and to other fundraisers.

I have also written a book that I published on Amazon as an ebook. I have decided that everything I earn from my book will be donated to St. Jude. The link to my book is here.

I thank you for helping save little lives by donating, because every donation helps save lives. And what other gift is better than helping save lives?

Hello everyone! I am Aanya Anand. I am from India (Delhi). But in 2017 December, I moved to the United States with my parents. At that time I was in first grade but now I am in 6th grade and currently attending Stacy K. Danielson Middle School. My dream job is to become a surgeon. And the college I want to attend is either Baylor College of Medicine or one of the Ivy League Colleges like Harvard and Yale University.
