Hello friends, today I am going to tell you about my Corpus Christi Beach Vacation Trip. It took me 3 days to write this article.
Before the trip to Corpus Christi Beach:
I was excited to go Corpus Christi for 3 days. I was helping my mom pack-up for the trip. I also helped my dad clean the car. I bought beach toys, swimming dress, candies, and many more things.
While driving: I was so excited to go there. I was singing songs. After some time I was so sleepy so I slept for 1 hr. On the way, we took a break to buy food to eat and some drinks. My dad also filled the car with gas. Then we went back to our car and ate the food.
I felt so excited. After some while, I saw so many windmills and plants on the farm. After some time we arrived at our hotel, the Emerald Beach Hotel. It was so wonderful over there. I could see seagulls all over the hotel. It sounded so nice like waves and fresh air.
Day 1 at Hotel Emerald Hotel, Corpus Christi
After we reached the hotel, we relaxed in our room and had some snacks. When I looked outside the window. I saw the beach. It was McGee beach. The beach was so close to our hotel. It was only one minute walk. I could not stop myself to go there. After while I changed my cloth and we headed off to the beach.
The McGee beach was so clean. The sand was very soft and there were so many seagulls. I played in the sand for a bit. My father covered me in the sand. But I wanted to play in the water. So I went with my mom to the water. Then my dad also joined us. After a while, we came back to our hotel.
We took dinner and slept.
Day 2 at Hotel Emerald Hotel, Corpus Christi
I woke up early at 6 because my parents wanted to see the beautiful sunrise view. I thought it would make the whole ocean ‘s color turned kind of orange, red and yellow. Many people were there with their camera. But it was cloudy. Still, we saw a bit of the sunrise. My dad took photographs with his new camera which was Nikkon DSLR. Again I went into the water. I saw a huge hermit crab. It was near the shoreline. Some people who were fishing. I played a lot over there and came back to our hotel.
After having our breakfast, again we went to the beach.
At noon, we headed over to the Texas State Aquarium. Over there we took tickets and went inside. There I saw Sharks, Dolphins, Turtles, Blowfish and lots of sea creatures. The blowfish became my friend somehow. My dad took so many pictures of my new fish friend.
Then we went to the bird section. There we saw Flamingos, Macaw, and so many other birds. Macaw was talking to us. I had so much fun. After spending 2-3 hours we went back to the hotel.
In the evening, again we went to the beach. For a while, I played by myself then my friend Alishba joined me. Together we played in the water. And It was so fun. Before we were about to leave our hotel, my friend gave me a barbie doll. It was so pretty.
Day 3 at Hotel Emerald Hotel, Corpus Christi
We went to USS Lexington which was near the North Beach. Its nickname was The Blue Ghost. It was on the seawater. When we entered we took tickets then we went to watch a movie, which was about how USS Lexington got its victory during World War II. I loved the movie.
Then we went up to the ship and saw so many fighter planes. When I saw down in the seawater, I saw so many jellyfishes. I took some pictures of jellyfishes.
Then we bought some souvenir items, also some food.
In the evening we drove back to Austin.
