Bedtime Stories For Kids

Once there was a lonely rose plant that lived in a park. The park was very popular because there were a lots of flowers there in the park.

Every evening kids used to come to play in the park.They sniffed every single flower except the lonely rose. The kids ran away from the rose as soon as possible because they didn’t want to get poked by the sharp needles coming from the rose’s stem.

One day a butterfly landed on one of the rose’s petals.

With curiosity, the lonely rose asked the butterfly “can I ask a question to you butterfly?”

yes sure, asked the butterfly.

“How good am I ?” questioned the rose.

You are wonderful….! and in fact the butterfly continued “I think you are the brightest, softest and the most good smelling flower in this park” The butterfly said joyfully.

The rose murmured “I don’t think so”

Upon hearing this, the butterfly was puzzled and asked “ why do you think so ? ”

All those sweet little kids run away from me because of my horrible spikes ” the rose started crying.

There was a silence ” that’s because you are brave and you protect yourself “ the butterfly said as he broke the silence”. You are strong and pretty. The other flowers are just pretty, they don’t protect themselves ! “The butterfly exclaimed in a very worried pich.”

Anyone can pluck them. But they will think twice before plucking you, the butterfly said.

You are right, my friend! “ the rose said happily.”

But I want the kids to come to me too “the sad rose said.”

You know what, I will come back tomorrow, O.K ? “The butterfly said like he had a plan.”

OK “ the rose sighted. The rose watched the butterfly as he disappeared in the trees.

The Next Day
On the next day in the evening the rose saw a swarm of pretty butterflies! All the butterflies that were flying towards the rose landed on the rose plant.

After some moments all the kids noticed the butterflies, so they ran to catch the butterflies. But sadly the butterflies flew away. The kids couldn’t move because they were STUCK !

The smell of the rose was soooo good that the kids did not want to leave.
One boy said “ look at the color of the rose !
it’s color is bright red ” the boy then felt the rose “and it is so soft ”he said as he closed his eyes “

It’s fragrance is so pleasant, ”a girl said.
Suddenly a kid tried to pluck the rose’s petal but the girl stopped him and said “ stop it !,this is our friend and we don’t hurt our friends ! ”

So, from that day onwards when the kids went to the park they used to smell the rose then they headed out to play. And so the lonely rose had many friends.

The next day when the butterfly saw Rose smiling, he took pride in helping his friend.
