5 Amazing Facts About Chandrayaan-2 Mission

5 Amazing Facts Of Chandrayaan-2

Chandrayan-2 Mission Launched By ISRO

Yesterday my parents told me that India has launched Chandrayan-2.

ISRO – Indian Space Research Organization.

Being an Indian I was so proud of my dear India. I was more than happy to know that after Russia, the USA and China, India finally managed to launch Chandrayaan-2.

My mom said that Chandrayaan-2 was supposed to launch on July 15, but due to some problem, they could not launch Chandrayaan-2 to the surface of the moon. Instead, they launched Chandrayaan-2 on July 22, 2019.

Then I also researched it on youtube.com

When I looked on youtube.com, It had many interesting facts about Chandrayaan-2 and many amazing pictures.

I am sharing 5 amazing facts about Chandrayaan-2

  1. It will land on the south polar region of the moon.
  2. They decided to land on the south polar region because the south pole region is much bigger than the north pole. (I don’t know how much)
  3. India spent $140 million to get Chandrayaan-2.
  4. Chandrayaan-2’s trip was about 238855 miles (384400 kilometers).
  5. Aim of Chandrayaan-2 was to research and understand the moon better.

Now I am going to watch some more videos so that I can share more facts.

Once again I want to say that I am really proud of you India.

Many Many Congratulations.
