We must all eventually say goodbye,
No one can tell us a reason why,
It’s all too hard to comprehend,
Together, we’ll never spend.
We must accept all of life’s challenges
Be brave and turn away those tears,
Memories of times that we had,
Will never fade, no matter how sad.
The pain and hurt we can’t control,
We’ll heal, in time, of we are whole.
Those days of laughter and of joy,
Will last an eternity, I’m sure.
Yes, life can be too unfair at times,
But never forget, the love that shines,
For when you’re lost and feeling blue,
That person is always with you.
